Tomáš Brzon

Tomas Brzon is a glass sculptor from the Czech Republic who is gaining world-wide recognition for his innovative and exciting geometric glass sculptures. His pieces use a combination of cut and polished and matte surfaces creating original compositions that are unique through the internal and external contours of his sculptures

In my work I attempt to catch the nature of the glass, by using its primary attributes. I am working with the simple geometrical shapes, reflections and optical illusions. Using combinations of the matte and polished surfaces.  My objects are inspired by the forms and images of my everyday life. The main element is light.
