Dinh Hanh Vietnam, b. 1957

Dinh Hanh is a Vietnamese painter known for his works which juxtapose a traditional technique of multi-layered lacquer on wood with Modernist representations of the female form. Using delicate contours and simple color relationships, the artist produces works that are both approachable and timeless. Born in 1957 in Hanoi, Vietnam, the artist went on to study at the Hanoi Academy of Fine Arts. Hanh continues to live and work in Hanoi, Vietnam.
