Runners in a labyrinth. The image is reminiscent of a palace – open to interpretation and complex. The space is beautiful, with dimensional depth and fascination. – This work is a composite of motifs taken at an abandoned industrial center on the Huangpu River in Shanghai. The original buildings were coal chutes. Today at this site, the Long Museum and modern housing units can be found. - Shanghai’s society is experiencing a transformation, is looking for orientation and possibilities, often losing itself in the facets of emerging realms. Or perhaps, it is charmed with itself: indifferent and full of bewitching, unfathomable layers.
