Light enters darkness. Hope: the promise of tomorrow. – Fine areas of color and graphic moments begin a dance, creating a multi-layered canon; the result is an image evocative the Art Nouveau of Gustav Klimt. – The view from the terrace of a skyscraper in Johannesburg, South Africa was the inspiration for this work. “Joe-burg”, the endearing nickname for the city, gave the work its name.
