Václav Řezáč (glass artist) was born on 2nd April 1977 at Planá u Mariánských Lázní.
He studied in 1995 - 2001 in the atelier of glass of Vladimír Kopecký. Since 1997 he has regularly participated in international symposia, workshops and collective exhibitions both in the Czech Republic and abroad.
2003 Co-organizer and lector of international symposium SARING EXPERINECES - GLASS, FIRE METAL in H'alleforsnäss in Sweden.
From 2006 Vaclav has worked as a manager of the mould melted glass studio Lhotský s.r.o. where he is engaged in the creation of glass objects for artists as well as creating his own complicated and unique sculptures. His art pieces are represented in domestic as well as foreign public and private collections, including The Museum of Decorative Arts in Prague, Czech Republic, University of Architecture and Design in Coburg, Germany, Muzeum Karkonoskie, Jelenieja Góra, Poland, International Halleforsnas, Sweden and Eastern Bohemia Museum in Pardubice, glass collection, Czech Republic.
